I established Hollis Ford (formerly Juniper Mercury) in 1977. Over the years the business has grown from 4 on staff to 40. My success over the years has been primarily due to hiring people that love the auto business and who maintain a great relationship with our customers. John Hatfield

I have lived in the Truro area all my life, spending my childhood years in Hilden and attending schools in Brookfield and Truro. I am married and we have one daughter. I enjoy traveling throughout Nova Scotia and taking in all the beauty there is here. I also enjoy home DIY projects. I joined Hollis Ford in 1996 as a sales consultant. In 2003 I took on the position of pre-owned sales manager which has taken to my current position. It's a pleasure to be employed by a local family-owned business. I look forward to helping you with any of your automotive needs.

David Pelley

I am originally from Newfoundland but grew up in Nova Scotia. I have been part of the Hollis Ford team since 2002. Hollis Ford is a great place to work! I enjoy golf, softball and spending time with my family.

I was born and have lived in the Truro area all my life. I am married and we enjoy going for drives, exploring the countryside and all the little out of the way shops in Nova Scotia. We enjoy all the unique antique shops along the way. My children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are all here in the Truro area as well. Truro is a great place to live and work. I have worked in an office/accounting environment for 38 years. I joined the Hollis Team in October 2021 and enjoy working here very much.  I enjoy walking, swimming and skating. We also bowl on a league doing the winter months.

I've lived in Truro most of my life, I'm raising my son here and I met and married my better half here! My free time is spent with my family, traveling, going to concerts, reading and spending time outdoors, walking, hiking and fishing. After twenty years of working retail, I had the opportunity to join Hollis Ford in 2024 and finally use my passion in accounting and start my career. I look forward to see where this position will take me within Hollis Ford as the years come!

I am a dedicated professional who has a background in office administration and balances work with a rich array of outdoor passions.  In my free time I enjoy being in nature through hunting, fishing, and evening drives.  I am excited to be a part of the team and look forward to greeting you upon your arrival here at Hollis Ford.

Originally from Halifax, I moved to Truro in the early '80s where I met my lovely wife. Living in Truro is such a nice contrast to life in the city. I have been in sales with Hollis Ford, since 1988 where I have met and dealt with many fine individuals. I like to think that the service that I provide will keep my customers coming back. I moved to Truro with my real Boss and our family in 1992 from Prince Edward Island. We have 4 children, 9 Grandchildren all in the Maritimes. Enjoy music, Celtic in particular, travelling, do some hunting and fishing. I drop by New Beginnings Fitness Centre occasionally, Tae Kwon Do student and instructor at Langille's Tae Kwon Do! I have worked as a vehicle consultant for about since 1998. I take pleasure in taking care of my customer base and am always looking forward to my new customers in the future.

I am originally from Bridgewater Nova Scotia but, spent nearly a decade in Northern Newfoundland.  I moved to Truro with my wife 5 years ago and we currently live in Debert with our 2 young children, dogs and cat.  I have been in sales for a few years and have worked for a few different organizations but, none with the level of respect and integrity you find at Hollis Ford. I have been an automotive technician since 1980, and have worked for Hollis Ford as a Master Tech since 1991. I am married and have a son who is a carpenter. I have lived in Truro pretty much my whole life. I volunteered at the local homeless shelter twice a week in the evenings. I also was a volunteer firefighter with Truro for 24 yrs. I enjoy all outdoor activities and woodworking.. Since having an injury to my shoulders, I am no longer doing mechanical work. I now handle the front parts counter at Hollis Ford. With my knowledge of Ford vehicles, I take pride in myself of getting you the right part for your vehicle the "first time".

I am from Hopewell, Pictou County. I climb Mount Tom every day to get to work. I am married to a great lady named Rose. Rose is originally from Truro and we moved to Hopewell after we were married. We have two great children, Pam and Neil. We are now proud Grandparents of Pam and Dalton's little girl Elena Grace. I started work at Hollis Ford in 2003, left for 2 to 3 years, and came back in 2012. There are some good people working here and they all know their stuff.
